Punjabi Samaj has been engaged in number of philanthropic activities since its inception. It conducts medical camps regularly for the underprivileged and downtrodden in and around Jamshedpur including the rural areas.
In these camps the beneficiaries are examined by doctors and also prescribed medicine free of cost.
Over the last 40 years Punjabi Samaj has also been involved with Cataract eye operation with Red Cross and other voluntary service organizations. Tens of cataract patients have received free treatment and provided with Lenses post their operation.
